Tye Engineering is fully accredited to CE / UKCA BS EN 1090 EXC 2 so you can rest assured that all steelwork produced is being done so by fully trained coded welders, with strict quality control measures in place.

Important Information

On 1st July 2014 it became a legal requirement that any company producing or supplying structural steelwork needed to be CE accredited to BS EN1090. When the UK left the European Union the standard was changed and companies now had to be accredited to UKCA BS EN 1090. You can view and download our UKCA certificates below for piece of mind.

Please note that anyone supplying structural steel without the relevant accreditation is doing so unlawfully.

Cranked Steels + Steel Framed Roofs

Cranked beams and steel framed roofs are our speciality and we are industry leaders in this field of structural steel. With many new builds wanting to utilise the space within the roof space, steel framed roofs are becoming more and more common. Using state of the art CAD systems and machinery we are able to produce steel framed roofs and cranked beams that are millimetre perfect.

Installation

Here at Tye Engineering we don't just manufacture high quality structural steel, we also provide a full delivery and installation service. Our highly qualified team can safely and efficiently install any type of steel structure. We have fully trained machinery operators and good contacts with a number of crane companies for the larger scale jobs, however we also offer a full installation service for the smaller jobs that can all be installed by hand and with manual genie lifts.
